Annual Community Memorial Service

Save the Date!

October 26, 2017, at 5:30 PM, at

Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

2333 San Juan Ave., Port Townsend, WA 98368

Jefferson Healthcare Hospice will hold its Annual Community Memorial Service on October 26, 2017.  All community members throughout Jefferson County are invited to join with friends and family in this nondenominational service of remembering and honoring loved ones.

The service includes music, candle lighting, a program of responsive reading, poetry, reflections and sharing.  A memorial quilt, made by Cabin Fever Quilters, is a tradition in Hospice and will be displayed.  Family members and friends are encouraged to place a photo or momento on the quilt to honor and remember their loved one.

The quilt is used  as a symbol of hospice and represents the long held American traditions of home, family, community and caring all of which are hallmarks of hospice care.20141030_182353
